Power of EveryONE
Right now, every person in Kenya is impacted by malaria, whether on their health, their family, or the country and economy.
A new campaign - Zero Malaria Starts With Me: The Power of EveryONE - has been launched by Kenya's Zero Malaria Campaign Coalition and a collaboration of key partners in Kenya. It is a campaign that shows the opportunity every Kenyan has to help end malaria.
Kenya’s vision is to be malaria-free – to save lives, to protect the future of its citizens and to stop the disease from continuing to hold the country back. Through determined efforts of the Kenyan Government, partners and local communities, incredible strides have been made towards the elimination of malaria in Kenya. Zero Malaria can be reached in our lifetime.
Discover the faces behind the campaign...
From next-generation bed-nets, through to rapid diagnostic tests, to ground-breaking vaccines we have the tools and knowledge to beat malaria. Scientists, governments and communities are uniting to make zero malaria in Kenya a reality in our lifetime.
The Power of EveryONE campaign highlights the push to reach Zero Malaria in Kenya, driving critical public awareness and helping spark personal action, with visibility through concerted media, radio, television and out of home advertising.
The campaign will also target three Kenyan counties with high malaria transmission – Kisumu, Kilifi and Kakamega – encouraging sustainable behaviour change that will help protect more Kenyans from this disease.
Developed with input from community voices at its core, the campaign has even more power. EveryONE can lend their power to getting rid of malaria for good – power to act, power to lend your voice, and power to create enduring habits for prevention or treatment.
In addition to incredible campaign delivery partners, a leading global media partner in the malaria fight, dentsu has once again donated the creative talent and media partnerships that have brought this campaign to life, while longstanding supporter Fever-Tree provided funding support to make the county campaign development possible.
Through the Power of EveryONE, and our collective will, we’ll unite to drive Kenya to zero malaria.

- Malaria seriously damages the Kenyan economy through lost workdays and school absenteeism as well as costs for treatment.
- This is a critical moment in the malaria fight with progress threatened by challenges in drug and insecticide resistance, in climate change, in the need for strong financial commitments to reach elimination, amongst other things.
