Research Project
Assessing the economic contribution of Global Health R&D in the UK
- Closing date 7 March
We're commissioning research to quantify the economic and scientific impact of global health R&D, with a focus on malaria innovation. The study will assess contributions to the UK’s GDP, job creation, and life sciences sector, highlighting the strategic value of sustained investment. Findings will support policy recommendations ahead of key global health financing moments, reinforcing the UK’s leadership in malaria research.
Head of Strategy & Policy (Maternity Cover)

- Location: Hybrid with 1 day a week or fortnight approx. in office
- Salary: £67000 - £70000 per annum (pro rata’d for part time)
- Contract: 12-month fixed term from end April 2025
- Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week; part time hours of 25-30 per week can be considered
We're seeking a Head of Strategy & Policy (maternity cover from April 2025). This key role drives research, advocacy, and campaign strategy across our UK and international workstreams, ensuring that we deliver evidence-based impact. Reporting to the Executive Director, it oversees policy implementation and manages a Policy Officer.
Research Project - Request for Proposal how investing in malaria benefits across government sectors
We, along with our partners the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), are seeking applications from consultancies and research organisations to undertake a research proposal that seeks to demonstrate how investing in malaria control benefits multiple government sectors beyond health. By analysing economic, environmental, industrial, and social impacts, the study will build a strong evidence base to support advocacy for increased malaria funding. Findings will inform global, regional, and national policy decisions ahead of the Global Fund replenishment later this year.
Campaign Final Independent Evaluation: Consultancy Support

We are seeking an experienced consultant or firm to conduct an independent final evaluation of the Zero Malaria Starts With Me, Power Of EveryONE Campaign. This evaluation will assess the campaign's effectiveness, impact, and sustainability, providing key insights for future campaigns. Key deliverables include a comprehensive report with findings, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations. Applicants should have expertise in public health evaluations, malaria program assessments, and a strong understanding of Kenya’s health landscape.
Interested candidates should submit proposals detailing their approach, methodology, and relevant experience.
Board Chair
- Location: UK/London
- Hours: 4 board meetings per year, plus ad hoc contributions amounting to a total of 8-10 days per year
- Salary: Voluntary position. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
We are looking for a new Board Chair to provide strategic leadership, drive governance excellence, and spearhead our mission to eradicate malaria within a generation. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can set the agenda and pace of change we need to end this deadly disease.
Extra Information
