Research Project

Assessing the economic contribution of Global Health R&D in the UK

  • Closing date 7 March

We're commissioning research to quantify the economic and scientific impact of global health R&D, with a focus on malaria innovation. The study will assess contributions to the UK’s GDP, job creation, and life sciences sector, highlighting the strategic value of sustained investment. Findings will support policy recommendations ahead of key global health financing moments, reinforcing the UK’s leadership in malaria research.

Research Project - Request for Proposal how investing in malaria benefits across government sectors

We, along with our partners the African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), are seeking applications from consultancies and research organisations to undertake a research proposal that seeks to demonstrate how investing in malaria control benefits multiple government sectors beyond health. By analysing economic, environmental, industrial, and social impacts, the study will build a strong evidence base to support advocacy for increased malaria funding. Findings will inform global, regional, and national policy decisions ahead of the Global Fund replenishment later this year.

Extra Information

It is a requirement that any applicant already holds the legal right to live and work in the country in which they are seeking employment. Malaria No More UK is unable to support obtaining work permits or other equivalent permissions for potential candidates.

Due to the volume of applications received for each role, regretfully only those who are successfully shortlisted for interview will be responded to after the closing date.
