Raise a glass to fight malaria with Malaria No More UK and Fever-Tree!
Today we have launched an exciting campaign with our long-term corporate partner Fever-Tree, the pioneering premium mixer brand, that shines a spotlight on the global effort to fight malaria. Every time someone shares a photo on social media raising a glass to the end of malaria with #MalariaMustDie, Fever-Tree will give £5 to Malaria No More UK.
We have worked with Fever-Tree since 2013. Our partnership is rooted in a shared desire to end deaths from malaria, a major killer that kills nearly half a million people a year and affects many of the communities where Fever-Tree source their ingredients.
Globally, great progress has been made in fighting the disease, with deaths reduced by 60% since 2000, but more needs to be done if we are to beat it.
In the same month as World Malaria Day, and with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting taking place in London in April, Fever-Tree are supporting us to call for bold political action towards ending malaria for good.
You can join the fight and help us raise vital funds and awareness by getting involved. All you have to do is:
- Pour yourself a drink (may we suggest a G&T?)
- Share a picture of your raised glass on Twitter or Instagram
- Add a caption mentioning @FeverTreeMixers and the hashtag #MalariaMustDie
For every picture shared Fever-Tree will donate £5 to Malaria No More UK, up to £150,000! £1 is enough to save the life of a child with malaria, so your support really does make a difference.
(Please visit https://www.fever-tree.com/malaria for terms and conditions, and remember alcoholic drinks should be consumed by over 18’s only - and of course please always drink responsibly.)
