Head of Media, PR and Talent

The Head of PR, Media & Talent will support the Director of Global Communications and Partnerships and the Deputy Director of Communications in leading the development and delivery of the media and PR strategy for the organisation and campaigns at global, regional and national levels. Applicants to this role should be based in a malaria-endemic African country.

Digital Content Executive - Maternity Cover

We're looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their digital career while contributing to an ambitious, passionate organisation with a bold mission to end malaria. In this role you will be working directly with our small digital communications team undertaking a varied range of tasks including looking after our social media channels, editing website content, image editing and providing administrative support where needed.

Team PA & Office Coordinator

We're looking for a proactive, experienced Team PA and Office Co-ordinator to join the team and help everyone perform at their best. This role is to provide high-level support to a team of senior staff, as well as the wider MNMUK team. You will have a professional ‘can-do’ attitude, an eye for detail, and excellent IT skills. Your organisational and communication skills will be key to helping the charity run smoothly. The role will include all the regular tasks for this sort of role, but to succeed it is not just the practical skills that are needed – it also requires a confident, engaging colleague to be a key part of the staff team in a collaborative and effective way; someone who is as passionate about the cause as the rest of the team.

Africa Programmes Manager - Zambia

We're looking for an Africa Programme Manager to support MNMUK's strategic Africa vision. They will support the development and execution of strategic advocacy and communications plans and activities for MNMUK. The hiree will also provide appropriate support and advice in these areas to local partners across the chosen focus countries, support annual work planning and will be responsible for maintaining key partnership relationships.

Finance & IT Manager

We're looking for an experienced Finance and IT Manager to be a key part of our Operations Team; reporting directly to the COO. This role is based in Nairobi, Kenya. This is an inward-facing stakeholder role and will suit an innovative thinker and doer with a drive for seeking to optimise how the charity operates effectively in the areas of IT and finance management. The successful candidate will be a pragmatic, experienced, and logical thinker with nuanced and effective people skills. They will be an approachable internal business partner and will work with a wide range of team members to develop and refine and implement a range of MNMUK systems.

Advocacy Officer

We're looking for an Advocacy Officer with a keen interest in successfully affecting change to join the advocacy team and help implement the organisation’s advocacy strategies. Working to support UK advocacy, the jobholder will help the team cultivate a new generation of malaria champions and push malaria up the political agenda.

This role will work on increasing the visibility and resonance of the cause with key stakeholders in the UK, including UK parliamentarians. Securing sustained UK support will be vital to global efforts to accelerate progress towards ending malaria for good within a generation. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with strong project management skills and a good understanding of the workings of the UK parliament.

Emerging Threats Consultant

We're looking for a consultant to produce research highlighting threats to malaria eradication — together with the scientific solutions that can combat them — to help us build an investment case and accelerate funding for malaria.

To achieve this, MNMUK is actively encouraging applications for all roles from individuals with real and tangible experience of living with the constant threat of malaria and the implications that living in a malaria endemic area can bring. This would including having grown up, completed a substantial multi-year part of education or lived for extended periods of time in malaria affected countries.
