It's time to Finish The Job and end malaria in our lifetimes
Over the last 20 years Britain has been a key player in the global effort to end malaria.
Working with international partners, almost 12 million lives have already been saved and the number of children dying from this disease has halved.
Pioneering British research is ready to take the malaria fight to the next level, with new tools and treatments poised to change the game. Breakthroughs like the first-ever malaria vaccines, new next-generation mosquito nets, and so much more.
By delivering these to the children and communities that need them most, we will be able to save millions more lives – but we need politicians to commit to finish the job and end malaria for good.
This disease takes a devastating toll on families, communities and countries. Every minute, a child dies of malaria. We have a real chance to put an end to this – now is not the time for Britain to walk away and leave the job half-done.
