Fever-Tree commits £1 million to combat malaria
We’re thrilled to announce a new phase of our partnership with Fever-Tree, the pioneering global premium mixer brand, based on our shared ambition to end malaria for good. Fever-Tree is committing to raise £1 million over the next three years to support us in the global fight against the world’s oldest and deadliest disease.
This partnership comes at a critical time in the malaria fight. The disease is making a comeback after years of victorious decline. The 2018 World Malaria Report showed an increase in cases for the first time in a decade, but we won’t let it go any further.
As part of this new commitment, Fever-Tree will donate 10p from the sale of every bottle of its 500ml Premium Indian Tonic Water in the UK. In addition, its award-winning social media campaign - Raise a Glass to Fight Malaria – which reached over 40 million people worldwide in 2018, raising £150,000, will be re-launched in April with the aim of bringing together even more consumers to raise their glasses with us to fight malaria.
Building on a fruitful relationship that began in 2013, Fever-Tree and Malaria No More UK have taken game-changing steps together, including in April 2018 helping inspire 53 leaders from across the Commonwealth to commit to halving malaria, with the potential to save 650,000 lives and avert 350 million cases of malaria by 2023.
