Movies for Malaria – You, your friends and a DVD!0Comments
What could be better this Christmas than to gather your friends and family together for the perfect film night? Movies for Malaria offers you the chance to do just that. From now until the end of the year you can get involved by hosting your own fundraising film screening and you can do it in one of two ways:
Choose your favourite blockbuster and create your very own night at the movies for family and friends to help end malaria deaths. Why not pick a festive classic to get everyone in the mood for Christmas?
We’ve teamed up with Future Shorts Festival for their autumn season to bring you the very best of international short film. You can host your own pop up short film screening from their hand-picked selection.
The great thing is that it can be as big or small as you like. Hold a simple film night with friends at home or encourage your local pub or student union to hold an event. It really is a fundraiser for everyone.
Not only that but we will provide you with your very own “how to guide” with lots of useful tips and hints to make your event a success. We also have lots of fundraising ideas to pass on. For instance you could ask guests to make a donation on arrival, include a film quiz during the night where people pay to enter or why not do a twist on the classic; guess the number of popcorn in the jar!
By organising a Movies for Malaria night you can help make malaria no more.
