We’re really excited to report that there’s a fresh way for our supporters to get sponsored for their swim, run or other fundraising activity. JustGiving has just launched a new text to donate system – JustTextGiving – to help fundraisers raise even more for charity.

It’s a great tool, enabling people to sponsor friends, family and colleagues anytime, anywhere. All they have to do is text how much they want to give to a unique 6 digit code. Plus it’s free to set up and run.

If you’ve already got a fundraising page, it’s a quick, three-step process to get going:

1) Login to your JustGiving account
2) Create your free JustTextGiving code
3) Promote it everyone in your network…and receive text donations to your JustGiving page! Simple.

People setting up a new page will be issued automatically with a personalised code – see some of our top tips for promoting your JustText Code.

Helen Mabberley, Malaria No More UK’s Fundraising Manager, greeted the news about the service enthusiastically saying: “It’s exciting that supporters who are getting sponsored for their run, swim or other fundraising activity through JustGiving can boost their fundraising in such a simple way – I’ve used it myself and it’s a great way to sponsor people right there and then, so please do give it a try.”
