UPDATE: Listen again to the interview.

Jazz FM’s “Jazz In The City” is featuring a special guest interview tonight, as part of the station’s dedicated activity highlighting World Malaria Day and the five year partnership with Malaria No More UK.

Standard Chartered’s Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Gavin Laws will be appearing on the show, which is presented by Andy Brough of Schroders and Paul Kavanagh of Killik. The interview airs at 6pm today and will feature up-to-the minute business issues coupled with some great jazz, soul and blues.

Gavin and Malaria No More UK supporter Standard Chartered are at the cutting edge of the global fight to reach near zero malaria deaths by 2015. They recently leveraged their sponsorship of Liverpool FC to help launch an online auction of once-in-a-lifetime experiences to raise funds for Malaria No More UK.

This is the first of two special Jazz In The City interviews this month, with the second one following on World Malaria Day itself (25 April). Meanwhile Jazz FM is running a series of ads and on air promotions encouraging listeners to help save lives and donate to Malaria No More UK.

To listen to Gavin Laws, tune in to Jazz FM at 6pm on Monday 18th April.
