£500 is enough to recruit and train ten local volunteers to be Malaria Agents in Northern Namibia. Volunteers are often based in remote hard-to-reach areas and will provide life-saving malaria prevention information to their community – for instance demonstrating how to use a mosquito net. Trained volunteers will go on to provide this vital support to an estimated 1,000 vulnerable people.
