African Bush Trek – 18-26 October 2014

African Bush Trek for Malaria No More UK

Join us for this once in a life time opportunity to trek in Tanzania with the Maasai tribesmen! Starting in the foothills of the 2,590m tall Mt. Longido, a sacred Maasai mountain, you’ll trek across the Great Rift Valley to the foothills of the stunning Crater Highlands. Expect to be captivated by the beauty of this region, known as “the Cradle of Mankind”.

Malaria causes 15,000 deaths each year in Tanzania and work is underway to ensure that people can better protect themselves from the disease – for instance by educating communities how to use mosquito nets effectively. Many of the locals, who you meet on your journey through the African Bush, will have experienced malaria and seen the impact it can have on families.
