Stephen Webster, Special Ambassador
Luxury British jewellery designer, Stephen Webster is a Special Ambassador for Malaria No More UK. In 2009 he designed a limited edition mosquito ring in support of the Malaria Awareness Campaign and to raise funds for Malaria No More UK.
The ring sold out in record time on ASOS.com and was worn by style icons including Victoria Beckham. The money raised from the ring sales was invested in Botswana.
Stephen has since created a second piece – a limited edition mosquito locket, on sale on ASOS.com from 1st November 2010 with 100% profits going to Malaria No More UK. The beautifully crafted locket features a striking mosquito set with sparkling crystal wings perched upon a red enamel locket. The locket has been worn by entertainment and fashion stars including Yamsin and Amber Le Bon, Olivia Palermo and Tess Daly.
“Making malaria no more is something that we can all support and this is my way of helping the cause. I decided to revamp the traditional locket and create a provocative and expressive talking piece. It’s something that will look good for a long time and I hope will be a source on joy for whoever wears it”.
